    Property is a beautiful thing. There is never a bad time to buy in a market like Delhi/NCR or Mumbai. As a rule of thumb there will always be appreciation and this appreciation will generally be greater than the average salary hike on a yearly basis.

    So even if it looks expensive now, it'll only be worse in a few years.

    Some people may point out corrections in the market value. This is true, they do happen but the general trend is that they're few and far from one another in major cities and decent areas. Also they rarely reduce the price more than 10% that too for maybe 6-8 months after which they go up again.

    The smarter thing to do is buy now and if you're taking a loan then keep a keen eye on offers by various banks, since the interest rates have been falling recently and it could do you good to shift your loan from one place to another over time. Also I'd recommend trying to land a Loan with no foreclosure penalties.
